COVID-19 Update: Return to Clinic

Enhanced Covid-19 Protocols

Patient and public safety continues to be my priority. Currently for my patients, the clinic has opened for face-to-face visits on an needed basis, with enhanced Covid-19 protocols that are in compliance with WCB and BCCDC requirements for re-opening.

This means that the preferred way to see patients, new and returning continues to be through telemedicine. However there may be instances where a patient may need to come to the clinic for a physical exam, injection or acupuncture treatment. When necessary to see patients in person, there are certain procedures we have implemented at the clinic to ensure everyones safety and social distancing.

BE PREPARED – BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please have your online forms filled out ahead of your scheduled appointment.  Bring a mask if you have one. You will be pre-screened with a COVID-19 symptom questionnaire which will be sent to you via email before your appointment. If for some reason you aren’t able to access email, you will be pre-screened by phone.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Please arrive at your appointment time, not before.  Please come alone unless you absolutely need to bring someone else to the appointment with you. Sanitize or wash your hands when you enter the clinic.

DURING THE APPOINTMENT

Both Dr. Matusik, ND and you will wear a mask if you are less than 6 feet (2 meters) apart.  Dr. Matusik may also wear gloves and eye protection for certain procedures.

WHEN YOU LEAVE

Dr. Matusik, ND will book your follow up appointment from her office computer before you leave.  Payments are done through direct billing, credit card on file or touchless transactions to minimize contact with staff and remove congestion of people at the reception desk.

ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES

ZERO tolerance sickness policy for patients and staff. We will be sanitizing all surfaces and equipment with COVID-19 approved cleaners between patients. We will be booking 15 minutes between appointments to allow for cleaning and to ensure social distancing inside the clinic.
