WHO has declared the spread of the covid-19 virus a pandemic. Currently, the most important intervention we have to protect all members of our community through social distancing. In-office visits pose a risk to many patients who are a part of my naturopathic practice, including medically complex children, adults with risk factors such as diabetes and elderly patients. In order for me to continue to provide naturopathic care to all my patients through this time – social distancing is a must.

This does not mean your naturopathic care needs to be interrupted. In fact – the opposite is true. Naturopathic medicine can provide continuity to your health plan and address new concerns that may come up over the next weeks.

Telemedicine is an easy way to continue your naturopathic care. Once you book an appointment, you will receive an email with a link which will open up a video/audio link to connect you with me at your appointment time. It is very easy to use – there is no need to download any software if you use Chrome or Firefox browsers. Simply click on the emailed link to be connected. To ensure highest level of security and privacy I am using a telemedicine provider which ensures that all data is encrypted, your sessions are anonymous, and none of your information is stored. It adheres to HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR data privacy requirements.
